FCL or LCL: which one should I choose?

Choose LCL for small volumes, up to roughly 13–15 m³. Above that, a full container (FCL) is usually cheaper, faster and safer.

LCL cargo is consolidated with other shipments and unpacked at destination. That adds handling and a few days. FCL goes door to door sealed.

Rough capacity: a 20ft container takes about 25–28 m³ in practice, a 40ft about 55–58 m³ and a 40ft high cube about 65–68 m³.
